Gregory Weldon: Managing Director

Gregory Weldon is the creator of the Certus Ledger Signing Spine and a software and systems engineer with more than 40 years’ experience working with mid-market companies.

He previously operated a consulting company, Group Weldon Ltd, and was a Hewlett Packard Solutions Developer in software. His technical background includes IBM web technologies, Java, Tomcat, systems architecture, and business software development.

Richard Poulden: Chairman

Richard Poulden read Jurisprudence at Oxford and qualified as a Barrister. He also holds an MBA from London Business School.

Richard has founded and co-founded successful companies across natural resources, healthcare, retail, and technology.

He was previously Chairman and CEO of AIM-quoted Sirius Minerals Plc, where he oversaw the company’s transformation into a substantial potash business through a series of acquisitions in Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

Richard was also Chairman of Valereum Plc, a company focused on linking conventional mainstream currency products denominated in USD and GBP with the world of cryptocurrencies.

Earlier in his career, Richard was a merchant banker at Samuel Montagu & Co, a management consultant at Arthur D. Little, and a member of the European Leadership Team at Electronic Data Systems.

Kaiyi “Jack” Sun: Finance Director

Kaiyi “Jack” Sun has more than 20 years’ international business and finance experience.

Jack was admitted as a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2009. His qualifications include an MBA from SaĂŻd Business School, University of Oxford, and an MAcc from Judge Business School, University of Cambridge.

Dr Isaac Weldon: Non-Executive Director

Isaac Weldon is an Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Copenhagen’s Centre for Advanced Studies in Bioscience Innovation Law.

His research focuses on law, global health governance, international relations, antimicrobial resistance, pandemic preparedness, and bioscience innovation.

He holds a PhD in Political Science from York University, Toronto, and an MSc in International Health Policy, with distinction, from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

He was previously a Senior Research Associate at the University of Cambridge’s Centre for Law, Medicine and Life Sciences and continues to serve as an Investigator with the Global Strategy Lab at York University.
